Results Trigger provides all of the benefits of the Fractional CMO but with a deeper level of transformational support through longer-term leadership. Some companies have found that extending the relationship better ensures results are more long-lasting by having the strategy more deeply integrated into the company.

To help make this arrangement work for more companies, the starting rate for this service is lower than the Fractional CMO. A performance trigger based on mutually agreed upon goals is included as part of the compensation plan. Should this trigger bit hit, the assumption is that the company has realized some commercial benefit which would therefore also lead to some commercial benefit in the relationship.

Work is delivered via regularly scheduled video meetings, emails, phone calls, and on-site visits at the beginning of the engagement and other key decision moments.

Results Trigger engagements typically last 18 to 24 months.
